What Does a Forest and Conservation Worker Do?
Ah, the fresh air. The nature on the precipice of existence and art. What would we do without it?
If you are looking for a forestry specialist to help maintain the quality of land, you are looking for Forest and Conservation staffing.
Firstly, Forest and Conservation workers are polar opposites of those working in forestry production. Henceforth, they work to make sure that a forest (or other wooded areas) remains healthy and of full quality. This work may involve digging soil, planting seeds, removing diseased plants and trees and cultivating plants. Regardless of the work, if it has to do with the shaping or preservation of nature, it’s Forest and Conservation.
- Firstly, creates forest treatment layout. This involves cruising, boundary delineation and marking.
- Secondly, conducts forest and noxious weed inventories.
- Thirdly, assists with noxious weed control when necessary.

- Overall, performs general labor, facility and equipment maintenance and conducts minor construction projects, etc.
- Working Conditions: Material and equipment directly used: All hand and power tools, chainsaw, chemicals, tractor, crack filler

- Gathers spatial data and other attributes to catalog activities performed; monitor and report on treatment implementation.
