Party Chief

Job Summary

We are hiring a Party Chief / Field Survey Technician based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role focuses on performing accurate land surveys, managing field operations, and documenting site details with consistency and precision. The right candidate can work solo, problem-solve in the field, and maintain productivity across multiple project sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate GPS units and professional surveying equipment (Trimble, Leica, or comparable systems) to obtain reliable field measurements.

• Record detailed notes, sketches, and digital logs for each project.

• Communicate with project coordinators and office staff through mobile platforms and shared data systems.

• Prioritize daily tasks to support a steady workflow across commercial and residential projects.

• Drive and maintain a company-provided vehicle while following safety and traffic regulations.

• Perform additional survey-related duties as needed to support field operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license required.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Minimum of 6 months of experience using surveying tools and processing field data.

• Able to work outdoors in changing weather conditions common to Oklahoma—heat, wind, and uneven terrain.

• Comfortable working independently for extended shifts (average 50 hours weekly).

• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with construction staking or boundary surveys is a plus.

Salary Range

• $21/hr – typically for candidates with around 1 year of Rodman/Instrument experience.

• $28/hr – typically for candidates with around 2 years of Party Chief experience.

• Consistent overtime available (10-hour days common).

• Standard workday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with potential Saturday work during peak periods.
