Wireless Network Administrator

A Wireless Network Administrator ensures the seamless operation, security, and optimization of wireless communication systems within an organization. This role involves overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wireless networks to support reliable connectivity for all users.

Working closely with IT teams, this position manages wireless infrastructure, implements performance improvements, and ensures compliance with network policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adept at problem-solving, and committed to maintaining a high standard of network performance.

Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, and maintain wireless network systems and equipment

• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and implement effective solutions

• Collaborate with IT staff to integrate wireless systems with other network components

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field

• Professional certifications such as CWNA, CCNA Wireless, or equivalent preferred

• Proven experience in wireless network administration and troubleshooting

Salary Range

$60,000 – $85,000 annually, with compensation determined by experience, certifications, and technical expertise.
