Technical Support Technician

In this role, the Technical Support Technician provides hands-on support for hardware, software, and system issues across a growing, tech-driven organization. You’ll be responsible for resolving technical problems, assisting with equipment setup, and helping users navigate systems critical to daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals

  • Assist with setup and configuration of user workstations and IT equipment

  • Provide technical support for Microsoft 365, internal applications, and operating systems

  • Manage user accounts and permissions using tools like Active Directory

  • Track, document, and resolve support tickets using a help desk system

  • Support new hire onboarding and equipment provisioning

  • Perform basic networking troubleshooting and escalate complex issues when needed

  • Maintain IT documentation and follow internal procedures


Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in a technical support or help desk role

  • Working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common support tools

  • Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking concepts

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft) are a plus

Salary Range

$48,000 – $62,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and technical skill set.
