About the Role
Our client, a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP), is seeking a Senior Workday Administrator – Financials to join their dynamic and innovative team.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives at the intersection of finance, technology, and leadership. You’ll play a key role in shaping and optimizing Workday Financials environments, ensuring seamless deployment, performance, and integration across enterprise systems.
As a hands-on leader, you’ll drive implementations, collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders, and ensure the client’s Workday Financials ecosystem operates at peak performance.
Responsibilities

Lead the administration, deployment, and optimization of Workday Financials modules, including Financials, Projects, Expenses, Procurement, and Inventory.

Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday Financials — managing configurations, integrations, and security settings.

Partner with Finance, Payroll, and IT teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Oversee Workday release management, testing, and rollout of new features or updates.

Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics for executive stakeholders.

Provide Tier 2 system support, user training, and documentation to ensure operational excellence.

Manage and coordinate client-facing implementations, including discovery sessions, deployment planning, and stakeholder communications.
Qualifications

Workday Pro Certification in Financials / ERP required.

5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials administration or implementation experience.

Proven success leading or supporting Workday Financials deployments across multi-functional teams.

Strong understanding of Workday security, business processes, integrations, and data structures.

Expertise in financial reporting, dashboards, and analytics.

Exceptional communication and project management skills, with a consultative approach.

Experience working in an MSP, SaaS, or consulting environment preferred.

Salary Range
$150,000 – $170,000 per year (based on experience and certification level)
