The successful candidate will oversee network performance, implement updates, and troubleshoot issues—all from a remote setup. We’re looking for someone who brings technical expertise and attentiveness to detail, helping maintain smooth operations across distributed environments.
In this position, you’ll collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams to proactively manage network infrastructure and support ongoing projects. Your efforts will keep our systems resilient and our users supported, no matter where they’re located.
Responsibilities

Monitor network infrastructure from a remote environment to ensure optimal uptime and performance

Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other networking equipment

Identify, investigate, and resolve network issues quickly to minimize disruptions

Apply security patches, firmware updates, and other enhancements to safeguard remote access

Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps

Coordinate with remote teams to support new deployments, expansions, and upgrades

Analyze network traffic and performance metrics to recommend improvements

Provide remote technical support and guidance to users encountering connectivity challenges
Qualifications

Proven experience working remotely as a network administrator or in a network support capacity

Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), VLANs, and VPN technologies

Familiarity with common firewall platforms and network security best practices

Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities (e.g., WireShark, SNMP)

Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills, especially in distributed environments

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear remote collaboration

Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent preferred

Ability to manage workspace and time effectively while working independently

Salary Range
Estimated compensation spans from about $65,500 to $93,500 annually for this remote role, depending on experience and technical aptitude.
