Remote IT Support Technician

The Remote IT Support Technician provides virtual technical assistance to employees across the organization, ensuring reliable access to systems, tools, and communication platforms. You’ll resolve issues remotely related to hardware, software, access, and connectivity—keeping teams productive regardless of location.

This is a direct-hire opportunity with our client in the digital marketing and creative services industry. It’s an excellent fit for someone who’s tech-savvy, self-motivated, and enjoys solving problems in a remote-first environment. You’ll support a distributed workforce and gain valuable experience with cloud systems and remote support tools.


Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support via phone, email, and screen-sharing tools

  • Troubleshoot issues with laptops, mobile devices, applications, and network access

  • Support Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and common cloud-based tools

  • Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access permissions via Active Directory

  • Log and track support tickets through a help desk system, ensuring timely resolution

  • Help onboard new remote employees by preparing devices and providing system walkthroughs

  • Document common issues, solutions, and update internal knowledge base articles

  • Escalate unresolved problems to Tier 2 or infrastructure teams as necessary


Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in remote IT support or help desk roles

  • Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and remote access tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk)

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote work environment

  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Fundamentals are a plus

Salary Range

$48,000 – $62,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and technical skill set.
