PC Support Technician

With a focus on hands-on assistance and technical know-how, this role involves diagnosing and resolving everyday hardware and software challenges that users encounter. You’ll work both on-site and remotely to configure systems, deploy updates, and ensure reliable operation of essential tools.

Expect to collaborate closely with team members to install and maintain desktop environments, troubleshoot issues promptly, and help keep business systems running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve hardware, software, and network questions from end users.

• Set up, configure, and maintain desktop systems, peripherals, and accessories.

• Install, update, and troubleshoot operating systems and application software.

• Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access permissions.

• Document support incidents, solutions, and escalate complex issues when needed.

• Provide remote assistance and on-site support as required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Windows and macOS environments.

• Experience with troubleshooting PCs, printers, and common peripherals.

• Understanding of basic networking principles (e.g., TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).

• Strong communication skills and user-focused demeanor.

• CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize effectively.

Salary Range

Annual compensation typically ranges between approximately $49,000 and $70,600, adjusted for experience and technical skill level.
