Junior Network Administrator

A Junior Network Administrator plays a vital role in supporting and maintaining an organization’s network infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software

  • Monitor network performance and address connectivity issues promptly

  • Apply security updates and assist in implementing best practices for network security

  • Help troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs

  • Familiarity with network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or CCNA (preferred)
