Junior IT Support Technician

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

  • Assist with troubleshooting issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and other legal software

  • Set up and configure new workstations and user accounts

  • Respond to support tickets and document all actions taken

  • Help onboard new users by preparing hardware and ensuring access to necessary systems

  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and asset tracking

  • Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff as needed

  • Maintain professionalism and clear communication with non-technical users


Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 1–2 years in a help desk or IT support role preferred

  • Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking

  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to follow procedures and contribute to process documentation

  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft are a plus

Salary Range

$44,000 – $56,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and technical proficiency.
