As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and managing a variety of IT systems including workstations, servers, networks, and cloud services. You’ll handle escalated support issues, assist in systems administration tasks, and play a key role in maintaining a secure and reliable IT environment for end users and business operations.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for desktops, servers, networks, and cloud-based services

Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues across multiple platforms

Assist in the administration of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file systems

Manage and support virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)

Maintain documentation, asset inventories, and knowledge base content

Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and deployment of new tools or platforms

Ensure system and network security, including antivirus, patching, and backup solutions

Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of experience in an IT support or systems engineering role

Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting

Experience with virtualization, cloud platforms, and endpoint security solutions

Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell preferred)

Strong analytical, documentation, and customer service skills

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco) are highly preferred

$65,000 – $85,000 annually, depending on experience, technical expertise, and certification level.
