The IT Support Coordinator oversees and streamlines daily IT support operations, ensuring that service requests are managed efficiently and users receive timely, effective solutions. This role bridges technical support and administrative coordination—tracking support tickets, assigning tasks, and helping standardize processes while also providing hands-on technical assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and prioritize incoming IT support requests to ensure timely resolution

Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and common applications

Maintain and monitor the ticketing system; assign and escalate tickets as necessary

Track IT support metrics, generate performance reports, and recommend process improvements

Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, hardware provisioning, and account management

Communicate with end users to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction

Collaborate with IT leadership to implement support policies and documentation standards

Maintain inventory records and assist with procurement coordination
Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

2–4 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles, with coordination or lead experience preferred

Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and help desk software

Familiarity with Active Directory, basic networking, and IT asset management

Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills

Experience with service desk metrics, reporting, or ITIL practices is a plus

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft certifications are preferred

Salary Range
$54,000 – $70,000 annually, depending on experience, coordination skills, and technical expertise.
