The IT Support Administrator manages the day-to-day technology needs of the organization, ensuring reliable access to systems, software, and networks across teams. You’ll take ownership of user support, system configuration, and IT asset management, serving as a critical point of contact for both technical issues and routine system administration tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies via Active Directory

Install, configure, and update hardware and software across office environments

Support Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and standard business applications

Monitor system performance and handle patch management and software updates

Maintain IT documentation, inventory records, and asset tracking systems

Assist with backup management, basic networking, and security protocols

Coordinate with vendors and service providers when necessary
Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

2–4 years of experience in IT support or system administration roles

Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and basic networking

Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and system monitoring tools

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and prioritize support needs

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar are a plus

Salary Range
$56,000 – $72,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and system administration skills.
