IT Infrastructure Support

IT Infrastructure Support professionals are the backbone of a company’s technical environment, ensuring that servers, networks, and systems operate reliably and efficiently. In this role, you’ll support infrastructure components that power internal applications, data storage, communications, and cloud services—resolving issues and implementing improvements to keep everything running smoothly.

This is a direct-hire opportunity with our client in the engineering and design services industry. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to support mission-critical systems and wants to deepen their experience in network, server, and infrastructure management within a professional, growth-oriented environment.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support servers, network equipment, firewalls, and backups

  • Troubleshoot hardware, system, and connectivity issues across infrastructure components

  • Assist with patching, system updates, and performance tuning

  • Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file servers

  • Support Microsoft 365, virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud services (Azure, AWS)

  • Work with the security team to ensure compliance and protect against vulnerabilities

  • Participate in infrastructure projects such as migrations, deployments, and disaster recovery planning

  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and asset inventory


Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on infrastructure, systems, or networking

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

  • Experience with virtualization platforms and cloud-based infrastructure

  • Familiarity with backup systems, endpoint protection, and patch management tools

  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar are preferred

Salary Range

$60,000 – $78,000 annually, depending on experience, technical expertise, and certifications.
