End-User Support Technician

As an End-User Support Technician, you will be responsible for assisting staff, faculty, and students with day-to-day technology issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution of hardware, software, and network-related problems. You’ll support users in both remote and on-site environments, helping maintain a reliable and secure IT experience across classrooms, labs, and administrative offices.

This is a direct-hire opportunity with our client in the education technology services industry. The ideal candidate is patient, technically skilled, and service-oriented, with a strong understanding of user support best practices. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to end users for computers, software, printers, and mobile devices

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system access, connectivity, and peripheral equipment

  • Assist with device setup, user onboarding, software installation, and basic training

  • Maintain and manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles using Active Directory

  • Document service requests, resolutions, and user interactions in a ticketing system

  • Support video conferencing, classroom technology, and remote learning tools

  • Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff or specialists as needed

  • Ensure compliance with IT security and usage policies


Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in an end-user support, help desk, or desktop support role

  • Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and standard desktop support tools

  • Familiarity with Active Directory, networking basics, and remote support software

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a user-facing environment

  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL, etc.) are a plus

Salary Range

$48,000 – $62,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and technical proficiency.
