End User Computing Technician

Summary

The End User Computing Technician supports and maintains the hardware, software, and systems that enable employees to work efficiently. This role focuses on troubleshooting technical issues, managing user devices, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across the organization.

Working closely with internal teams, the technician provides responsive support, implements updates, and assists with system configurations. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to adapt to evolving technology needs.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for end users

  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and security updates

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles within corporate systems

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to staff across departments

  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, resolutions, and procedures

  • Assist with device lifecycle management, including procurement and decommissioning

  • Train end users on technology best practices and system use

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common business applications

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

  • Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range

$50,000 – $68,000 annually, depending on experience and technical expertise.
