As a Desktop Support Technician, you will provide hands-on technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices across the organization. You’ll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with system installations, and support users in person, remotely, and over the phone to ensure minimal downtime and a seamless IT experience.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and operating systems

Assist with new user setups, moves, and equipment upgrades

Support Microsoft 365 applications, Windows OS, and remote access tools

Troubleshoot network connectivity and VPN access issues

Maintain asset inventory and perform hardware diagnostics and replacements

Document support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system

Ensure adherence to IT security policies and procedures
Qualifications

Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

1–3 years of experience in a desktop or end-user support role

Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking

Familiarity with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and remote support tools

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, etc.) are a plus

Salary Range
$50,000 – $64,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and technical proficiency.
