A Desktop Services Technician supports end-users by maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading desktop hardware, software, and related peripherals. This role also requires installing and configuring systems, monitoring performance, and assisting with technology rollouts. The technician collaborates with other IT team members to uphold security protocols and maintain a reliable and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware

Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and peripheral issues

Perform system upgrades, patches, and security updates

Assist in deploying new hardware and technology solutions

Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and repairs

Provide technical support to end-users in person, via phone, and remotely

Qualifications

Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
