Cloud Network Administrator

This position is responsible for managing and optimizing an organization’s cloud-based network infrastructure. You will support network performance, connectivity, and security within cloud environments, ensuring smooth operations and reliable communication across systems in line with company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud network infrastructure (e.g., VPCs, VPNs, subnets, routing)

  • Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues

  • Implement and enforce cloud network security measures, such as firewalls and access controls

  • Collaborate with cloud architects and system admins to support scalable networking solutions

  • Troubleshoot network-related incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and document outcomes

  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate cloud networking tools and services

  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning and network redundancy strategies

  • Maintain clear documentation of cloud network configurations, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • Proven experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar platforms

  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, firewall management)

  • Familiarity with cloud-native network tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure ARM)

  • Experience implementing network security controls and best practices

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and communication skills

  • Preferred: Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Cisco CCNP Cloud); industry certifications like CCNA/CCNP

Salary Range

The expected salary falls around $88,500 – $125,000 annually, varying based on experience, cloud platform expertise, and certifications.
