Structural Revit BIM Modeler / Technician

Summary

We are seeking experienced Structural BIM Modelers / Technicians to produce high-quality Revit models, drawings, and schedules for concrete and hybrid steel-concrete structures. This fully remote role offers the chance to collaborate with leading structural engineering teams while helping develop automation workflows that improve drafting efficiency. Candidates should have 5–10 years of structural engineering firm experience and expert-level Revit skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D BIM models of structural elements in Revit.

• Produce construction-ready drawings, details, and schedules.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and perform clash detection.

• Conduct QA/QC checks to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

• Maintain and improve Revit content libraries and drafting templates.

• Liaise with engineering teams to deliver accurate and timely drawing packages.

• Support automation development by providing technical insights and testing tools.

Qualifications

Required:

• Associate’s degree or technical diploma in drafting, construction technology, or related field.

• 5+ years Revit experience in a structural engineering environment (8–10 preferred).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D detailing.

• Knowledge of structural design principles, detailing codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE), and Navisworks.

• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Team lead or BIM management experience.

• Tekla Structures, Bentley ProConcrete, Python, or Dynamo skills.

• Experience with 3D reinforcement modeling and fabrication workflows.
