Job Description for Database Administrator

About the Role

As a Database Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the company’s database systems. This includes ensuring their optimal performance, security, and availability. Your responsibilities will involve overseeing database installation, configuration, and upgrading, as well as monitoring system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance and availability. You will also be tasked with developing, managing, and testing backup and recovery plans, ensuring comprehensive database documentation, and providing proactive and reactive data management support.
