Job Description
About the Role:
The Security Architect designs and implements security solutions to protect an organization’s information systems and data. This role focuses on developing strategies to safeguard against cyber threats and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security architecture strategies and frameworks.
- Design and oversee the deployment of security solutions, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into applications and infrastructure.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Ensure security policies and procedures align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting investigations and providing recommendations for remediation.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
- Provide expert guidance and support on security-related issues and projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Security Architect or in a similar security-focused role.
- Deep understanding of security technologies, protocols, and best practices.
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
- Strong knowledge of network security, application security, and cloud security.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
