About the Role
The Mainframe Systems Programmer maintains and enhances the efficiency of mainframe systems for large organizations. They work with hardware and software to ensure performance, security, and reliability. Responsibilities include installing, customizing, maintaining systems, troubleshooting issues, performing upgrades, and ensuring system integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- System Maintenance and Enhancement: Perform regular maintenance tasks, apply patches, and updates to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Software Installation and Customization: Install and customize mainframe software and tools, ensuring they meet the organization’s needs.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for mainframe systems, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues to minimize downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications
