VLC Media Player – How to loop a section

So, you really like a particular section of a video or music file and just want to loop that area over and over. Here is how to do it in VLC Media player.

1. Open VLC media player.

2. View > Advanced Controls

3. You will have advanced controls appear above the play button.

You will see “A” and “B” options circled in green. Press “A” once to start the beginning of your loop section and then press “B” to stop your loop. You will then see the sections chosen in a continuous loop.
